My Favorite White Sneakers For Spring And Summer 2021

8 stylish, durable, and minimal white sneakers

I love a good white sneaker. It’s an essential for every men’s wardrobe. A few weeks ago, I wrote a quite popular postabout my minimal basic wardrobe. A white sneaker was the first shoe on this list. But I didn’t go into detail on which sneaker to get. Let me elaborate on this here. My favorite white sneakers for spring and summer 2021.

1. Old faithful

The first sneaker is a classic. It’s been going strong for years and years and years. There’s no stopping this one. This white sneaker is one of the most stylish, simple, minimal, yet great-looking and pretty comfortable sneakers on the market. It also comes in thousands of variations. The upper is usually made of leather, but a vegan version is available. I’m, of course, talking about the Adidas Stan Smith. If you have never had one of those, you’ll probably enjoy a pair. If you’re on the lookout for a new white sneaker, the Stan Smith is a pretty safe bet.

2. Classic casual

The next one on my list is another classic. But don’t worry, we’ll get to newer ones as well. Number 2 is a skate shoe that comes in suede, leather, or canvas, looks cool on pretty much anyone and isn’t often seen in the all-white version. It’s the Vans Old Skool. More popular is the black and white version. But I think all-white is just as nice. Also, one of my favorite kicks for women. Moreover, the Old Skool comes in low-tops, mid-tops, or high-tops. Whatever style you prefer. If you don’t like white sneakers, the Vans present the perfect solution in black and white, or many other colorways.

3. French style

One of my favorites from 2020 and beyond is a French sneaker. It’s ethically made and comes in leather or vegan upper. I’m talking about the Veja V-10 or V-12. Both of these have a stylish silhouette. The price tag is a little higher though. But I believe the quality is worth it.

4. The top dog

The top white minimalist sneaker is without a doubt the Common Projects Achilles. This shoe looks clean, stylish, is comfortable, durable, and high quality. It’s also crazy expensive. A real investment. But it will last a long time with a little care.

5. The underdog

This next one might be my pick for a new white sneaker 2021. It’s a very popular shoe, though still kind of under the radar if you know what I mean. I think the price and the simple style make it a perfect fit for a basic men’s wardrobe. They also come in low- and high-top versions. It’s the Nike Blazer.

6. Never gets old

My next pick is probably my favorite sneaker of all time. The classic canvas version is an icon. I also like the newer 70s edition which offers more comfort and durability. Can’t go wrong with these sneakers. The Converse All-Stars or Chucks 70s.

7. English charm

Another sneaker that has been highly popular the last few years, is a great classic by Reebok. It was my sneaker of choice in 2018 and lasted till 2020 with heavy, heavy use. The Reebok Club C.

8. My current pair

Number 8 is the white sneaker I currently own. I’ve gotten so much wear out of these, they paid off for sure. These kicks by Adidas come in many styles, have a more sporty vibe, and have been very popular over the last 2–3 years. It’s the Continental 80*. (*This is a partner link via rewardstyle.com)

Closing

There you have it. My 8 favorite white sneakers for spring and summer 2021. All these 8 shoes come in a variety of colors & styles (except for the Common Projects Achilles). They cover a nice range of price points and offer good durability and comfort. I’d pick one out of these 7 if you’re looking for a pair of white kicks this year. As I said above, I’m considering the Nike Blazer for me. I don’t buy new clothes or shoes often, so usually, my decision takes quite a bit of time. I only replace worn-out or broken items. And I only own one pair of white sneakers at any given point in time. After all, I try to keep my wardrobe fairly simple, small and minimal.
